Friendly Educators Used Curriculum Trunk Sale
Friendly Educators will be hosting a used curriculum sale on May 3, from 3-6pm, in the parking lot of the Friendly Avenue Church of Christ.
This will be a casual event that takes place out of the trunk of your car. If you would like to be a participant, please read the following:
- Participants wanting to sell curriculum MUST register by Monday, May 2, 5pm, with Valerie Chaffin at Valerie@chaffinhome.com to receive a parking space number. (Simply send an email with the Seller’s name and a note stating the desire to be a Seller.)
- Sellers who have registered will arrive by 3 pm on Tuesday, May 3, and park in the parking space corresponding to the number assigned. Parking spaces will have numbered signs.
- Sellers will display the assigned number sheet (sent via email in response to registering) in the front window of the car.
- Sellers will be selling from the trunk of the car. Any tables or display items needed must be provided by the individual seller and may NOT be borrowed from Friendly Avenue Church of Christ.
- Individuals wishing to purchase only may park in non-marked parking spaces and peruse the items available from the Sellers by walking from open trunk to open trunk.
- Individuals who wish to purchase items will be purchasing from individual sellers. Purchasers need to bring cash to pay individual sellers. Sellers need to bring change to facilitate cash exchange.
- The event will finish at 6pm.
Please note:
The Friendly Avenue Church of Christ building will NOT be open during the hours of 3-6pm during the Used Curriculum Sale. Use of bathroom facilities will not be available.

Childcare for children 2-4 years old is available in Room 26 of the Education Wing. There are two adult attendants each week watching the children. Drop-off time is after 6:45. Pick-up time is 7:45.

15 minute large group for all children PreK through 5th grade. This group meets to introduce the class discussion topic for the day. Singing, prayer, multimedia, activities, and an engaging, experiential environment. Children move from KidZone to their own class at 9:15. Childcare begins at 8:45.
