In addition to preaching and teaching, Jason works closely with the elders, staff and other church leaders to help carry out Friendly\u2019s mission to become a transformed people as we worship God, study His word and serve church and our community. Jason is married to Dr. Erica Noble and, together, they have four children. Erica and Jason consider themselves partners in life, family and ministry. They have served churches in Texas and North Carolina since 1999.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jason joined the Friendly Avenue staff in 2006<\/li>\n<li>B.A. Christian Ministry from Abilene Christian University, 1999<\/li>\n<li>Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry, Abilene Christian University, 2001<\/li>\n<li>Doctorate of Ministry in Preaching and Church Leadership, Carolina Graduate School of Divinity, 2016<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"x-text\" style=\"\" ><p><strong>Bryan Brown &#8211; Family Life Minister<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/friendlyave.org\/friendlyave\/wp-content\/uploads\/Bryan-1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-841037 size-thumbnail\" \/><br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:bryan@friendlyave.org\">bryan@friendlyave.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Bryan serves as our Family Life Minister, focusing on serving, supporting, and equipping families while partnering with our children\u2019s, youth, and young adult ministries. A key part of Family Life Ministry is strengthening marriages, as we believe healthy marriages are foundational to developing healthy disciples and Christ-centered homes. Bryan also leads our small group ministry. In addition, he occasionally preaches on Sunday mornings and teaches adult classes. Bryan is married to his lovely wife, Sheri Brown, and they have two wonderful sons.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"m_6085196938914268889MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">Started attending Friendly in 1996<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/li>\n<li class=\"m_6085196938914268889MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\">Joined the Friendly staff in 2004<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/li>\n<li class=\"m_6085196938914268889MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\">B.A. in Graphic Design, University of South Carolina in 1995<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/li>\n<li class=\"m_6085196938914268889MsoListParagraphCxSpLast\">Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Harding School of Theology in 2018<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"x-text\" style=\"\" ><p><strong>Willie Costa &#8211; Spanish Language Minister<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-778758\" src=\"http:\/\/friendlyave.org\/friendlyave\/wp-content\/uploads\/P1090501-250x328-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:willie@friendlyave.org\">willie@friendlyave.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Willie is our Hispanic Minister. He coordinates our church\u2019s efforts to reach out into the Spanish- language community in Guilford County. In addition to his outreach efforts, Willie also preaches for the weekly Spanish-language service, and he works to build community among the Hispanic group at Friendly. He is the lead teacher and coordinator for our youth program for teens, grades 6th-12th grade. He seeks to exemplify the character of the Lord Jesus to our teens and desires to see them grow into full maturity as disciples of Christ. In addition to this role, he occasionally preaches in both the English and Spanish-language services.
