Today we are gathering together as a royal priesthood, we are invited to step out of the shadows of secrecy and into the restorative light of the Gospel. Following Jesus moves us beyond the exhausting effort of damage control to embrace the power of confession. We worship a Savior who does not stand behind a bench with a gavel to pronounce a sentence, but stands in this room with a towel and a basin to wash us clean. And so, we lay down the burden of being perfect for the freedom of being known, coming to His table not as prisoners of our mistakes but as a family finding healing. Come to the table.
