The Spirit Acts: Leaving Ephesus

Our sermon reflects on a call that is as demanding as it is glorious: the mission to make disciples of Jesus. In prospect, this is a journey of sacrifice, founded in the blood of Christ and the bold witness of those who came before us. It is a work fulfilled by the sweat of our perseverance through uncertainty and the labor of bearing one another’s burdens. And it is a path perfected by the tears of genuine love and the deep bond of true fellowship. We do not come today seeking comfort, but to be equipped for the race. Let us worship the One who bought the church with His own blood, and let us commit our sweat, and tears to the great work of the Gospel.
