Jesus is our apostle, sent to bring deliverance and lead God’s people into the promised rest. Moses was faithful in God’s house. Jesus was faithful over God’s house. Moses bore witness to the word God would speak in the future. Jesus brought a greater deliverance and a longer lasting rest than Moses. Jesus is over us, only if we remain under him; so, let us continue to hold firmly to our confidence in Jesus to deliver us and bring us home in glory.
