Today, invite you to help build the blessing that we all need--a church walking in step with the Spirit, strong in faith and rich in love. While we, individually, all find ourselves on different places on our pathway to "perfection", we are, everyone of us, an invaluable part of the body of Christ.
To say it another way, we are not who we are without you, and we cannot be fully who Christ is creating us to be as a church until we are all together--with one mind and voice--giving glory to God. Let us praise God this morning because he has shown us how to live our lives together by given us the example of Jesus, and he has given us the Holy Spirit to help us follow his example; a strong church is built when we trust the Holy Spirit to help us follow the example of Jesus.
