My Blood of the Covenant

My Blood of the Covenant

Sunday mornings, we will come to the table of our fellowship with the Lord and with one another. As we do so, we cherish again in our hearts the blood of the new covenant which (1) reminds us of the suffering Jesus bore on a cross on or behalf, (2) seals the new covenant that maintains our relationship with the father through the forgives of our sins, and (3) thus secures our seat at the wedding feast of the lamb. Let us be renewed again in the covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus, and praise God (Revelation 19:6-9): “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!”
