Today's message is an opportunity to reflect on our ability to make Jesus a priority and understand how our small choices matter. Luke gives us a private view of the home of two sisters. Both women are influential and inspiring, and both are committed followers making small decisions that matter in their service to Christ. In this brief passage, Luke presents us with a genuine pearl in a stream of faithful but human characters from the pages of his gospel, each valuable as a disciple who has decided to follow Jesus, carrying within them the imperfections of their humanity. Let's take the invitation and walk with Jesus into the private dwelling in Bethany of Judea, the home of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus.
