Sermon Archives

We draw near to God in worship giving thanks for His unbreakable word, in a world full of broken promises. We draw near to God who promises His chosen ones eternal security, in a world full of insecurity. We draw near to God whose knowledge is complete, in a world full of uncertainty. We gather knowing that while we are not all together in the same physical place this morning, a day is coming (and will certainly come) when Jesus, the true Messiah, will return to gather the elect from the four winds to be with Him forever. This is the hope Jesus gives His people in Matthew 24, our scripture reading today.
