CloseToday’s scripture reading, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, reminds us that we live our lives in and out of seasons. Its teaching is a piece of practical wisdom from the heart of God’s word reminding us to cultivate the corresponding habits of hanging on (faithfulness) and letting go (pruning). As we wonder, what is more difficult: enduring in faithfulness through trying times or drawing something you once invested in to a close? It turns out, both are difficult but necessary tools in our living wisely toolbox.
