CloseOur worship draws its inspiration from 2 Corinthians 12:6-10. As Paul continues to defend himself and his ministry from attempts to dash his credibility, he strategically skirts the "glory" of his own life to draw attention to the power of God. Although he possess numerous marks of credibility (as far as the world is concerned), he focuses instead on the thorn in his flesh. This unidentified thorn kept him from becoming conceded and drove him to the stronger strength. In these verses we find the theme of 2nd Corinthians powerfully summarized, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (12:9).
