Sunsets on the Calling
The earth turns, the sun sets, and our lives change. Nothing is more common to our lives (and our life togther as a chruch family) than living through the transitions that accompay change. This morning we will draw lessons from Paul, Timothy, and the church in Ephesus as we think about those seasons of our lives when the sun is setting. If the end must come, and it inevitably will, let us end well--where the scripture rings true in our own lives: 6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
