The River Flows

Today's worship will flow with the river motif in scripture. The idea of a river flowing from the temple of God for the blessing of the nations is an idea foreseen by the prophets, affirmed by Jesus, and finally fulfilled in the coming of the Holy Spirit. Today's sermon will provide a teaching overview of the river motif flowing from Genesis to Revelation, as we think about the significance of water to our lives and faith. If you want to follow this theme for yourself, here are some passages you can check out over the coming week: Genesis 2:10-14, Number 19: 1-22, Isaiah 12:3, Isaiah 55:1-7, Zechariah 13:1, Zechariah 14:8, Joel 3:18, Ezekiel 36:24-27, Ezekiel 47:1-12, John 7:37-38, Revelation 22:1, Revelation 21:6-7, and Revelation 22:17.

Scripture References: Isaiah 55:1-7
